Welcome to the first Inside Tegiwa of 2023! It’s certainly been a busy January with plenty of stuff happening, so let’s jump right in and take a look.
New brands & products
January saw us list the entire Bell Helmet range on our website! From carbon lids to karting helmets, Bell Helmets combine leading-edge technology, superior engineering, outstanding comfort and fit.
We headed over to Milltek Sport to check out their new Integra DC5 exhaust system that they’d been busy developing. Their eagerly anticipated 3″ cat-back exhaust system is available with either a polished or black tip and has the choice of a resonated or non-resonated centre section too.
Yokohama’s newest street legal sports tire, the all-new ADVAN Neova AD09 features an improved casing, compound and tread pattern to deliver ultra-high performance on the street and at the track.
Manufactured from ‘Grade A’ Carbon Fibre sourced directly from Japan, we were thrilled to announce our latest release for the GR Yaris. Our V-Style carbon spoilers are sure to add a bit of flair to the rear of your Yaris without being over the top!
Autosport International
As many of you know, Autosport International is the first major event of the automotive calendar. It sees a whole host of big names and brands attend. The show had come under criticism in recent years with numbers dwindling, however, our trade stand went down a storm as we saw masses of enthusiasts flock to stand 3A750!
We had a huge range of products on display, showcasing a little bit of everything that we have to offer at Tegiwa. These included parts from Skunk2 Racing, Garmin, OMP, Yellow Speed Racing, WedsSport, Exedy, Competition Clutch and many, many more!
Honda Civic FL5
January also saw us take delivery of the highly anticipated Civic FL5. The most powerful Type R yet! It appeared to go down a storm on our social media platforms, as well as our YouTube channel as we collected it from the dealership.
We’ve been super busy listing plenty of Genuine Honda optional extras from EU, USDM and the JDM markets. Plus, we also got to work writing a wheel fitment guide for those that are looking at upgrading to something from the aftermarket!
Bizz goes to Oman!
It’s been quiet on the motorsport front here at Tegiwa, but not for our very own friendly drifter, Ian ‘Bizz’ Phillips. He’s taken on the first 2 rounds of the OIDC, Oman International Drift Championship, in his supercharged LS3 powered Nissan 350Z.
