Tegiwa in Japan – Day 7: J’S Racing, Laile & Daikoku PA

This was our final day in Japan, and with a heavy heart knowing our trip was coming to an end, we were still determined to make the most of it!

Our first stop was the new headquarters of J’S Racing in Osaka. We’d seen so much about this place online that we couldn’t wait to see it for ourselves, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The place was heaving with legendary Hondas, including a couple of S2000s, a TCR FK8 and FL5, a S660, and even an Integra DB8 tucked away in the back!

The real star of the show for us though, was the S2000 parked inside. This machine was built for Touge and boasted a stroked F-series engine pushing a whopping 350bhp! They also had a tuned FK8 kicking out a staggering 460bhp, kitted out with all the best bits that J’S Racing offers, including a full titanium exhaust.

We were then given a tour of the facility, making our way up to the roof which offered an awesome view of a wide variety of JDM metal. Unfortunately, this was all top secret so we couldn’t capture anything on camera.

Back downstairs, we saw their immaculate warehouse and offices before ending the visit with something truly special – getting some merchandise signed by the president of J’S Racing himself, Hisaaki Murakami.

With J’S Racing behind us, we caught the bullet train back to Yokohama to pick up our car and headed to Laile. These guys have been involved in motorsport for over 30 years and develop a wide range of parts, including strut bars, braces, and cooling panels.

While waiting outside Laile to leave, we were treated to the sight of some awesome motors driving past, including a MK4 Supra – something that had eluded us so far on our trip!

We decided to take one last chance on a Daikoku meet on our way to the airport. We were desperate to see one and felt especially keen after our no-luck earlier in the week.

As we pulled up, we could hear the cars pulling in – this meet was special! There were so many cool motors on display with an incredible variety. From classic JDM all the way through to Aventador SVJ’s and Porsche 911 RWBs, it had it all! Check out our YouTube channel for a video tour of the Daikoku meet!

And just like that, our trip was over. It had been a crazy week of seeing some truly special things that money just can’t buy. We hope you enjoyed coming along for the journey, and stay tuned to our YouTube channel for videos of each day of our trip!
